Nobody likes to admit they’re wrong. I get that.
So close your eyes. Take a slow, deep breath in…and out. Do it again. And a third. Open your eyes. You’ve taken two giant steps back from anxiety and recrimination.
This is where you are. Over there is where you can go. To a better place.
Lay aside anger and blame–they were just weighing you down anyway.
Face where you want to go, and acknowledge the problem that keeps you here.
Allow yourself to accept and admit, Yeah, I did wrong that time. I can do better.
Congratulations for owning up to your mistake.
Now that you’ve cleared it out of your system, get rid of it once and for all by putting it down here in the Comments section or on any blog post or page on this site. Let it fly, watch it go, and see how many other people own up to that same mistake.
See? You’re not alone. We’re all in this together.
